GraceKennedy Delivers Strong Q1 Performance
REVENUES UP J$2.84 BILLION OVER PRIOR YEAR; PRE-TAX PROFITS INCREASE BY 20.6% GraceKennedy (GK) has released its unaudited financial results for the three-months ended March 31, 2023. For the period, GK achieved revenues of J$39.09 billion, representing an increase of 7.8% or J$2.84 billion over the first quarter of 2022.
Tertiary students to benefit from over J$25 million in scholarships from the GraceKennedy Foundation
Applications are now open for the 2023 GraceKennedy Foundation (GKF) scholarships. This year, over J$25 million in scholarships will be awarded by GKF to Jamaican students attending the University of the West Indies, the University of Technology and the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in the 2023/24 academic year.
New GK ONE App Has Received Almost $300 Million in Remittances Since its Launch
GK ONE, the new mobile app from GraceKennedy, has received over J$290 million in Western Union remittances since its launch in November 2022. The GK ONE app boasts several features, including a digital wallet, and a free companion pre-paid card which can be used anywhere Visa is accepted locally, online, or abroad.
