“GraceKennedy has been creating innovative ways of expanding access and increasing convenience to our customers. We are doing so through technology, such as GK MPAY and GKG Online as well as through our physical locations. We will continue to create ways that serve our customers how they prefer to do business and this is the first of several locations earmarked to be opened in 2017 and 2018,” said Don Wehby, Group CEO of GraceKennedy.
At GK ONE locations, customers will be able to access the services provided by First Global Bank, GK Insurance (GKI), GK Proxim (micro-loans), and GKMS’ Western Union, Bill Express and FX Trader
Grace Burnett, CEO of GKFG says customers will enjoy the new, integrated approach.
“Customers want more convenience and easier access, so this facility will make it possible for someone to collect their remittance from Western Union, purchase traditional insurance or a micro-insurance product from GK Insurance, access micro loans and open an account or make a deposit with First Global MoneyLink,” Burnett said.
This move is in keeping with the GraceKennedy Group’s strategy of expanding financial inclusion, increasing use of technology and delivering innovative solutions to meet the present and future needs of its customers and clients.
The GKFG is the financial arm of the GraceKennedy group and comprises all the companies in its banking, investment, insurance and money services business in Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean.
