GraceKennedy Intern/STEM Centre volunteer Shuala Richards (centre), and STEM Club members Naricka Bryan (second right), Hahmahnee Atkinson (right) and Divine Steadman (left), conduct an experiment at the Grace & Staff Community Development Foundation’s STEM Centre, located in Water Lane, Downtown Kingston. The Foundation recently launched an Introduction to Coding Programme, which is being delivered in partnership with the UK-based Micro:bit Educational Foundation. The programme aims to equip approximately 100 students from underserved communities in Jamaica with the vital skills needed to thrive in today’s digital world.
