The GraceKennedy Jamaican Birthright Programme is an internship programme offered to qualified applicants of Jamaican lineage and includes educational, professional as well as cultural exposure for applicants in the working environment. Specifically, successful candidates will be accommodated in assigned GraceKennedy business offices and will have the opportunity of working among the management and staff of GraceKennedy on a day-to-day basis during the period of internship.
Each applicant is required to submit a character reference and an educational reference.
A character reference must be submitted by one of the following persons:

If you are just entering university you can submit a reference from a former teacher at your high school
We ask that the referee provide an honest and confidential evaluation of the candidate’s suitability for such a programme. The reference letter should include the following information:
Relationship to the applicant & length of time that they have known the applicant
Reasons why the applicant should be selected for the Programme emphasising the applicant’s:
