GK General Insurance, led by the Claims Team, supported New Providence Primary School in hosting their end of year party for the Christmas Season. No party is complete without cake, ice cream and a bounce-a-bout which the team was happy to make available to the excited students.

Grace Foods LACA provided donations of two (2) educational scholarships valued at JMD $200,000.00 (JMD $100,000 each); to a boy and a girl at Reddies Place of Safety in Kingston for achieving exceptional grades in school. GF LACA adopted the Reddies Place of Safety, and for the past 5 years has donated food, school & personal items to the home twice of year.

Following the traumatic shooting in Buffalo NY, Grace Foods (International Business) provided seasonings and beverages for 1000 Jerk meals to be prepared by partner Chef Darian Bryan. The initiative was also supported by Buffalo Bills legends, Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith, and executed in collaboration with Be a Blessing Buffalo and over 25 volunteers.

Grace Foods (International Business) partnered with NBA Miami Heats Player, Udonis Haslem’s UD Cares Foundation to help address food insecurity in underserved communities in South Florida, USA. Grace provided food products for 100 children and their families at the event which saw 100 kids receiving a Wal-Mart shopping spree for Christmas.

The GK General Insurance team celebrated with the St. Stephen’s United Basic School at their annual Christmas Carol Service with the children, teachers and parents. GKGI donated a variety of food items, a pot set, four (4) standing fans, a TV and TV mount for the school.

The Grace and Staff Community Development Foundation team, along with other members of GraceKennedy, visited Walters Basic School and provided the children with goodies and engaged them in a beautiful Christmas treat to add some “GK flair” to their Christmas.
