GraceKennedy

Mr. Mark Golding was appointed to the Board of Directors of GraceKennedy Limited on July 29, 2010. Mr. Golding is a lawyer with extensive experience in the legal aspects of corporate finance, capital markets, banking, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a founding shareholder and former director of the investment brokerage Dehring Bunting & Golding (DB&G) Limited, and more recently was part of the team that established Proven Investment Limited, a company which provides international investment opportunities. He is a founding shareholder and director of Proven Management Limited, a licensed securities dealership which manages the financial assets of Proven Investment Limited.

He studied law at Oxford University (Magdalen College) in the UK where he graduated with honours in Jurisprudence; at the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica where he gained his Legal Education Certificate, and at the University of London (University College) from which he graduated in 1990 with a LL.M degree in Commercial and Corporate Law.

Mr. Golding is a member of the executive of the People’s National Party (PNP) where he holds the positions of Treasurer, and Opposition Spokesperson for Industry and Commerce. He was appointed to the Senate in 2007. He is a director of the Jamaica International Insurance Company (JIIC), Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services Limited, the Mona Rehabilitation Foundation, and Food for the Poor.
