Registration underway for the GraceKennedy Education Run

Registration is now well underway for corporate and individual participants in GraceKennedy’s Education Run, a 5K Run Walk scheduled for Sunday, July 5. Corporate registration is being facilitated through the website www.gracekennedy.com, using registration software which allows team captains to upload team registration information directly.

With some three weeks to go before the June 19 registration deadline the company is also making registration easy and convenient for individual entrants by providing forms on its website, www.gracekennedy.com; at Hi-Lo stores across the Corporate Area, and at the New Kingston branch of First Global Bank (FGB). Individual participants may make payments at FGB New Kingston, and at GraceKennedy’s head office at 73 Harbour Street.

The backdrop for the July 5 GK Education Run is the scenic waterfront of downtown Kingston. The run will start in front of GraceKennedy’s head office on Harbour Street and proceed along Fleet Street, Port Royal Street, Nethersole Place, Ocean Boulevard, Port Royal Street and Marcus Garvey Drive, returning along Marcus Garvey Drive onto Harbour Street, then onto Gold Street, and ending on Port Royal Street. The Race will kick off at 7:00 a.m. starting with runners, followed shortly by wheelchair participants, and then by walkers. Awards will be made to the top three places in each category. There will also be a prize for best T-shirt entry among other sectional prizes.
