Robert Drummond Appointed President of First Global Financial Services Ltd.

Douglas Orane, Chairman and CEO, is pleased to announce of Robert Drummond as President of First Global Financial Services Ltd., effective November 1, 2008.

Mr. Drummond who currently serves as Principal of GK Investments and CEO of FG Funds Management (Cayman) Ltd., brings to his new position, his skills in negotiating, executing and integrating mergers, acquisitions and new business ventures.

Prior to joining the GK Investments team, Mr. Drummond worked as Business Development Manager assigned to GraceKennedy’s Corporate Offices.

Mr. Drummond has held appointments in general management, strategic planning and new ventures development for a number of Fortune 500 companies, before becoming a member of the GraceKennedy family. 

He earned his MBA degree at the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration in Boston, Massachusetts and his undergraduate degree in business from Pace University in New York.

He is currently a member of the Economic Policy Committee of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ), and is a Commissioner on the Fair Trading Commission in Jamaica.  He is also an active member of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew and other civic interests.
