HiLo Food Stores Division

Hi-Lo Food Stores was first incorporated in Jamaica in 1954. However, it was not until 1984 that the chain of stores was acquired by GraceKennedy Limited. Today, Hi-Lo Food Stores is a operating as a division of the GK Foods & Services Ltd.. a wholly-owned subsidiary of GraceKennedy Ltd.

Hi-Lo has evolved as one of the leading supermarkets in Jamaica; admired by both its customers and competitors. With its competent and dedicated group of employees, Hi-Lo is focused on creating long lasting relationships with our customers through our FS5 commitment to Fresh Stores, Fast Service, Frequent Savings, Full Shelves, and Friendly Smiles. This philosophy is facilitated through our locations island wide.

These include:

  • Six in Kingston namely Cross Roads, Half Way tree, Liguanea, Barbican, Manor Park and The University of the West Indies Mona Campus
  • One in Port Maria in St. Mary
  • Three in Westmoreland namely Savanna-La-Mar and Negril (2 Stores)
  • Two in Montego Bay, St. James
  • One in Ocho Rios, St. Ann
  • One in Mandeville, Manchester
  • One in Spanish Town, St. Catherine

Our locations offer a wide range of grocery and non-grocery items at competitive prices and a shopping experience that exceeds the expectations of our customers. We also offer Bill Express and Western Union services at our Liguanea, Negril and Savanna-la-mar locations.

Selected locations are open seven days per week and some public holidays for the shopping convenience of our customers.
