GraceKennedy Ltd. copped several awards at the Jamaica Stock Exchange's (JSE) Inaugural Best Practices Awards held on December 9, 2005 at the Hilton Kingston Hotel.
One of two overall category winners, it shared the top spot with the Bank of Nova Scotia (Ja.).

It was also second place winner in the categories: Best Practices Corporate Disclosure & Investor Relations; and Best Practices Website (listed Company).
GraceKennedy came in for special commendation in the category Best Practices Annual Report, in which Bank of Nova Scotia was first place winner and Pan Caribbean Financial Services (PCFS) was second place winner.
In making his report, Chairman of the JSE's Best Practices Committee, Professor Neville Ying, pointed to the importance of highlighting best practices and praised the companies for their efforts to adhere to the industry standards and requirements. Members of the Committee were:-Mr. Harry Abrikian -Lecturer, Mona School of Business; Mr. Christopher Bovell - DunnCox; Mr. Alvaro Casserly - Director; Mr. Vindell Kerr - Centre for Corporate Governance; Mrs. Audrey Richards - Financial Consultant; Mr. John Jackson - Producer Investors' Choice; Dr. Cecil Goodridge - Northern Caribbean University; Mr. Kurt Anderson - Au Fait e-Solutions; Mr. Granville Gayle - Au Fait e-Solutions.
