GraceKennedy Contributes $3 million To JAAA's Destination Helsinki Programme

Fay McIntosh, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, GraceKennedy Limited (left) hands over GraceKennedy's sponsorship cheque to Howard Aris, President of the Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association (right) National athlete Danielle Browning looks on.

Mrs McIntosh said that GraceKennedy's contribution is in keeping with the Company's wider and continuous support of initiatives aimed at developing the nation's youth. "GraceKennedy has always supported the development of sports at the community and national levels. The 'Destination Helsinki Programme' provided another avenue through which we were able to show our support. In addition, our athletes have made us proud time and time again and deserve all the support we can give them. They embody the grit and determination, discipline and commitment to excellence for which many Jamaicans are noted. We should not only celebrate their successes but help them in a tangible way to move forward."
