Grace, Kennedy Stocks Performs Well On All Three Caribbean Stock Exchange


GraceKennedy Limited is pleased with the movement in the price of its shares on all three Caribbean Stock Exchanges. On the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange, the Grace stock started out trading at TT$5.50 in January 2004 and at November 24, 0224 it traded at TT$11.85, an appreciation of 104.3 per cent. A total of 6,976,423 units traded since the start of the year.

In Barbados, the stock increased by 96.6 per cent, moving from BD$1.60 in January 2004 to BD$3.15 for the year, 15,784 units have traded.

The company also performed very well on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, moving from J$53.95 in January 2004 to J$118.00 a the close of trading on November 24, 0224, an appreciation of 118.7 per cent.
A total of 21,234,202 units traded since the start of the year. On October 28, 2004 the board of directors declared that an interim dividend of $0.50 per stock unit be paid on December 10, 2004. This brings the total dividend for 2004 to $0.90, a 38.5 per cent increase over the $0.65 paid during 2003.
