During his 48 years with GraceKennedy Limited, Peter Moss-Solomon held several positions, up until 1998 when he retired as Finance Director of the company.  He served as Managing Director of George & Branday Limited for five years during which he was responsible for the overall implementation and management of the merchant bank’s objectives, policies, and strategic plans.  He also served as Deputy Managing Director of GraceKennedy Limited – Merchandise Division, and as Manager – Inspection Division.

Mr. Moss-Solomon was appointed a Director of the Board of GraceKennedy Ltd. in July 1975, a position he still holds.  He serves as Chairman of the Audit and Banking Committees of the Board, and a member of the Corporate Governance Committee. He is Chairman of the following GraceKennedy subsidiaries – First Global Financial Services Limited, and Jamaica International Insurance Company Limited.  He also serves as director of other companies within the Group, including GraceKennedy Remittance Services (GKRS) Limited.  He is also Chairman of the Board of the GraceKennnedy Foundation and a director of the Luis Fred Kennedy Environmental Foundation.

His other affiliations include membership on the Boards of Trustee of the Jamaica College Trust and the Boys’ Brigade Trust Fund, and the Chairmanship of the Priory School Trust Society.  He is a member of the Constant Spring Golf Club and Kingston Cricket Club.

He was educated at McGill University.
