Mr. Christopher Bovell is an Attorney-at-Law
and Partner at DunnCox since 1965.
Prior to being named partner, he was
an Associate at Dunn, Cox & Orrett
from 1964 to 1965. He began his legal
career in private practice as a Barrister-at-Law
in 1962.
Mr. Bovell was enrolled as a Solicitor
of the Supreme Court (Jamaica) in
1964. He has also been Secretary
of the Incorporated Lay Body of
the Church in Jamaica in the Province
of the West Indies for over 25 years.
He is a Member of the General Legal
Council; General Legal Council Disciplinary
Committee; and the Jamaican Bar
Association. He served as a Government
Senator from 1983 to 1989.
He was named Director of GraceKennedy Limited in 1979.
He was appointed Chairman of Allied Insurance Brokers Limited in 2005. He also serves as a director of
First Caribbean International Bank
(Jamaica) Ltd.; Pegasus Hotels of
Jamaica Ltd.
A graduate of St. Johns College;
Cambridge University, Mr. Bovell
was called to the bar at Middle
Temple (London) in 1961.
