M. Audrey Hinchcliffe is an entrepreneur and a health management specialist. She is Founder and Principal Consultant of Caribbean Health Management Consultants Ltd., and Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Manpower and Maintenance Services Ltd.
Mrs. Hinchcliffe was named Director of GraceKennedy Limited in March, 2004. She holds a number of board and committee appointments including President of Jamaica Employers’ Federation, Chairman of Hilo Food Stores and Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Enhancement Fund. She served as Chairman of the Nursing Council of Jamaica for 11 years up to March 2005. In the December 2005, Mrs. Hinchcliffe was selected to serve as a member of the consultative group on the Consolidated Education Strategy of the Inter-American Development Bank.
The recipient of several commendations and awards, Mrs. Hinchcliffe is the Ernst & Young Caribbean Entrepreneur of the Year 2003 - Services. She was nominated for the Business Observer - Business Leader of the Year 2001, and was the recipient of the Kiwanis Club of New Kingston in Celebration of Women - Award of Excellence in 2002. In May 2005, Mrs. Hinchcliffe was awarded the Business Leader of The Year Award 2005 by Florida International University, Bachelor of Computer Science (Jamaica Program).
On March 29, 2006 Mrs. Hinchcliffe was conferred the honour of the Order of Distinction, in the rank of Commander (CD) in recognition for her Entrepreneurial Enterprise and Leadership in Employer/Employee Relationships.
On September 19, 2006 Mrs. Hinchcliffe was elected to serve for a third term as President of The Jamaica Employers Federation.
Previously she served on several high level delegations representing the CARICOM and Commonwealth Secretariats and as Consultant on health matters to regional governments and international health organizations.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Community Health from St. Francis College, Brooklyn, New York, a Master of Science in Health Administration from Long Island University, New York, and a Certificate in Health Economics from the University of York in the United Kingdom.
